From the single guy just dipping his toes into dating to the man that's been married for 40 years planning dates can be frustrating. Here is a few suggestions we put together here at UWM Men’s Shop that may help take a little weight off your shoulders.
1) Salt Lake has no shortage of museum options for those that are interested in educational dates. To list just a few:
Utah Museum of Contemporary Art- This museum offers a range of rotating exhibitions in its six galleries, showing works by local, national, and international contemporary artists.
Natural History Museum of Utah- The Natural History Museum of Utah provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the unique geography, earth science, history, and native cultures of Utah’s past. With 10 permanent exhibits, the museum provides both interpretive and interactive educational experiences to its many visitors.
2) Salt Lake also has several outdoor educational date suggestions including:
Tracy Aviary- Tracy Aviary offers visitors a chance to observe and learn about a diverse collection of birds and habitats. The aviary contains over 400 individual birds deriving from over 135 different species, and a significant percentage of these birds are considered endangered or rare. Visitors are able to view the birds in a variety of natural habitat and ecosystem exhibits.
Red Butte Garden- Red Butte Garden, open year round, is a popular outdoor center featuring a botanical garden, arboretum, and amphitheater at the base of the Wasatch Mountain Range. Sitting on over 100 acres of land, the park showcases a variety of exhibits and attractions based on a seasonal schedule. Year round, the garden features numerous flora and fauna presentations, along with art exhibits and sculpture installations.
3) For those interested in live sporting events Utah is home to :
Utah Jazz- NBA Basketball
Real Salt Lake- Major League Soccer
Several college sporting events with the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University and Utah State University
4) If you like to include live music in your dates, Salt Lake has a large selection of music venues including every kind of music under the sun:
The Depot- The Depot is a unique, multi-faceted 4-story venue built on the historical Union Pacific located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.
The Complex- The Complex is Salt Lake City's live music and entertainment headquarters including 4 separate venues all housed within the 42,000 square foot area.. Focusing on national and international touring artists
Usana Amphitheater- The USANA Amphitheatre is a 20,000-seat outdoor amphitheater, located in West Valley City.

Urban Lounge- 241 S. and 500 E. in Salt Lake City, UT
Kilby Court- Currently Salt Lake City’s longest running all ages venue, 741 South Kilby Court in Salt Lake City, UT
